How To Install uim-tcode on Debian 12

What is uim-tcode
uim-tcode is:
Uim is an input method module library which supports various scripts and can act as a front end for a range of input methods, including Anthy, Canna, or SKK (for Japanese), Pinyin (for Chinese), Byeoru (for Korean), and M17n (for many other languages). Most of its functions are implemented in Scheme, so it’s very simple and flexible.
This package provides uim support for TUT-Code (or “T-Code”), a Japanese input method mapping pairs of alphanumeric codes to individual kanji - see http://openlab.jp/tcode/ (in Japanese).
There are three methods to install uim-tcode on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install uim-tcode Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install uim-tcode using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install uim-tcode

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install uim-tcode using apt by running the following command:

Install uim-tcode Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install uim-tcode using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install uim-tcode
How To Uninstall uim-tcode on Debian 12
To uninstall only the uim-tcode package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove uim-tcode
Uninstall uim-tcode And Its Dependencies
To uninstall uim-tcode and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove uim-tcode
Remove uim-tcode Configurations and Data
To remove uim-tcode configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge uim-tcode
