How To Install ucommon-utils on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install ucommon-utils on Kali Linux.
What is ucommon-utils
ucommon-utils is:
GNU uCommon C++ is a lightweight library to facilitate using C++ design patterns even for very deeply embedded applications, such as for systems using uClibc along with POSIX threading support. For this reason, uCommon disables language features that consume memory or introduce runtime overhead. uCommon introduces some design patterns from Objective-C, such as reference counted objects, memory pools, and smart pointers. uCommon introduces some new concepts for handling of thread locking and synchronization.
This package contains the following utilities included as part of the GNU uCommon C++ project:
- args
- car
- keywait
- mdsum
- scrub
- sockaddr
- zerofill
There are three methods to install ucommon-utils on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ucommon-utils Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ucommon-utils using apt-get by running the following command:
