Libu2f-server is a package for doing Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) server communication and has functionality for the Registration and Authentication operations. The package contains a C library, a command line tool, and documentation.

This is a command line tool to do registration and authentication with a U2F device.

There are three methods to install u2f-server on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install u2f-server Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install u2f-server using apt by running the following command:

Install u2f-server Using aptitude
