What is tryton-server-nginx
tryton-server-nginx is:
Tryton is a high-level general purpose application platform. It is the base of a complete business solution as well as a comprehensive health and hospital information system (GNUHealth).
While the uWSGI server as WSGI backend offers the possibility of serving HTTP content it is still preferable to expose the content produced by the Tryton server via HTTPS with a dedicated web frontend like Nginx on top of a robust WSGI application. Nginx has decent default security settings, can talk to WSGI applications by the native WSGI protocol, and also offers features like caching of dynamic content, load balancing, and serving static resources.
This package provides the integration of tryton-server-uwsgi with Nginx.
There are three methods to install tryton-server-nginx
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tryton-server-nginx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install tryton-server-nginx

Update apt database with apt

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
