How To Install translate-toolkit on Ubuntu 18.04

What is translate-toolkit
translate-toolkit is:
The Translate Toolkit is a Python library and a set of software designed to help make the lives of localizers both more productive and less frustrating.
The software includes programs to convert localization formats to the common PO format and programs to check and manage PO files and utilities to create word counts, merge translations and perform various checks on PO files.
Supported localization storage formats are: DTD, properties, OpenOffice.org GSI/SDF, CSV, MO, Qt .ts and of course PO and XLIFF.
This package includes documentation for the command line utilities.
There are three methods to install translate-toolkit on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install translate-toolkit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install translate-toolkit using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install translate-toolkit

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install translate-toolkit using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall translate-toolkit on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the translate-toolkit package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove translate-toolkit

To remove translate-toolkit configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge translate-toolkit
Remove translate-toolkit configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove translate-toolkit configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge translate-toolkit
