How To Install torcs-data on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install torcs-data on Kali Linux.
What is torcs-data
torcs-data is:
TORCS, The Open Racing Car Simulator, is a car racing simulation game which allows you to drive in races against opponents simulated by the computer.
This package includes all data files for the game including cars and tracks.
There are three methods to install torcs-data on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install torcs-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install torcs-data using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install torcs-dataInstall torcs-data Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install torcs-data using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the torcs-data package we can use the following command:

To remove torcs-data configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge torcs-dataRemove torcs-data configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
