How To Install tor-geoipdb on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install tor-geoipdb on Kali Linux.
What is tor-geoipdb
tor-geoipdb is:
This package provides a GeoIP database for Tor, i.e. it maps IPv4 addresses to countries.
Bridge relays (special Tor relays that aren’t listed in the main Tor directory) use this information to report which countries they see connections from. These statistics enable the Tor network operators to learn when certain countries start blocking access to bridges.
Clients can also use this to learn what country each relay is in, so Tor controllers like arm or Vidalia can use it, or if they want to configure path selection preferences.
There are three methods to install tor-geoipdb on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tor-geoipdb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install tor-geoipdb using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install tor-geoipdbInstall tor-geoipdb Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install tor-geoipdb using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo apt-get -y autoremove tor-geoipdbRemove tor-geoipdb Configurations and Data
To remove tor-geoipdb configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tor-geoipdbRemove tor-geoipdb configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove tor-geoipdb configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
