How To Install topline on Ubuntu 22.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install topline
on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is topline
topline is:
This is a top-of-the-line logger of CPU usage patterns, designed for machines with ca. 50-300 total hardware threads (fewer works but results in a narrow graph, more requires a very wide terminal). Every per-tick sample is shown abusing Unicode characters to fit within a single line.
Disk usage is also shown in a similarly terse per-device way, as % utilization for reads and writes.
There are three methods to install topline
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install topline Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install topline
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install topline

Remove topline Configurations and Data
To remove topline
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
