How To Install topcat on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install topcat on Kali Linux.
What is topcat
topcat is:
TOPCAT is an interactive graphical viewer and editor for tabular data. Its aim is to provide most of the facilities that astronomers need for analysis and manipulation of source catalogues and other tables, though it can be used for non-astronomical data as well. It understands a number of different astronomically important formats (including FITS and VOTable) and more formats can be added.
This package contains the executable.
There are three methods to install topcat on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install topcat Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install topcat using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install topcatInstall topcat Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install topcat using apt by running the following command:

To remove topcat configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
