What is tog-pegasus
OpenPegasus WBEM Services for Linux enables management solutions that deliver increased control of enterprise resources. WBEM is a platform and resource independent DMTF standard that defines a common information model and communication protocol for monitoring and controlling resources from diverse sources.
We can use yum or dnf to install tog-pegasus on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install tog-pegasus.
Install tog-pegasus on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tog-pegasus using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install tog-pegasus
Install tog-pegasus on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tog-pegasus using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install tog-pegasus
How To Uninstall tog-pegasus on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the tog-pegasus package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove tog-pegasus
