How To Install tkmib on Ubuntu 18.04

What is tkmib

tkmib is:

The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) provides a framework for the exchange of management information between agents (servers) and clients.

The Net-SNMP MIB (Management Information Base) Browser provides a graphical frontend for the Net-SNMP tools. It can be used to browse the MIB tree and interactively send requests to SNMP agents.

There are three methods to install tkmib on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install tkmib Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install tkmib using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove tkmib

To remove tkmib configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge tkmib
