How To Install tilp2 on Debian 11

on Debian 11.
What is tilp2
tilp2 is:
TiLP2 is a Texas Instruments hand-helds <-> PC communication program for Linux. It is able to use any type of link cable (Gray/Black/Silver/Direct Link) with any calculator. See http://lpg.ticalc.org/.
With TiLP, you can transfer files from your PC to your Texas Instruments calculator, and vice-versa. You can also make a screen dump, send/receive data, backup/restore contents, install FLASH applications or upgrade OS.
There are three methods to install tilp2
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tilp2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install tilp2
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install tilp2
Install tilp2 Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install tilp2
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install tilp2
Install tilp2 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install tilp2
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install tilp2
How To Uninstall tilp2 on Debian 11
To uninstall only the tilp2
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove tilp2
Uninstall tilp2 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall tilp2
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove tilp2
Remove tilp2 Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tilp2
