How To Install themole on Kali Linux

What is themole

themole is:

The Mole is an automatic SQL Injection exploitation tool. Only by providing a vulnerable URL and a valid string on the site it can detect the injection and exploit it, either by using the union technique or a boolean query based technique.

The Mole uses a command based interface, allowing the user to indicate the action he wants to perform easily. The CLI also provides auto-completion on both commands and command arguments, making the user type as less as possible.

There are three methods to install themole on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install themole Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install themole using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install themole

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install themole using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
