In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-xesearch
on CentOS 7.
What is texlive-xesearch
The package finds strings (e.g. (parts of) words or phrases) and manipulates them (apply any macro), thus turning each word or phrase into a possible command. It is written in plain XeTeX and should thus work with any format (it is known to work with LaTeX and ConTeXt). Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-xesearch
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-xesearch

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-xesearch
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-xesearch
How To Uninstall texlive-xesearch on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the texlive-xesearch
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-xesearch
