What is texlive-ucharcat
The package implements the \Ucharcat command for LuaLaTeX. \Ucharcat is a new primitive in XeTeX, an extension of the existing \Uchar command, that allows the specification of the catcode as well as character code of the character token being constructed.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-ucharcat on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-ucharcat.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ucharcat using dnf by running the following command:

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ucharcat using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-ucharcat
How To Uninstall texlive-ucharcat on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-ucharcat package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-ucharcat
