How To Install texlive-tipa on AlmaLinux 8

What is texlive-tipa
These fonts are considered the ‘ultimate answer’ to IPA typesetting. The encoding of these 8-bit fonts has been registered as LaTeX standard encoding T3, and the set of addendum symbols as encoding TS3. ‘Times-like’ Adobe Type 1 versions are provided for both the T3 and the TS3 fonts.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-tipa
on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-tipa.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-tipa
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-tipa

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

using yum

How To Uninstall texlive-tipa on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-tipa
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-tipa
