What is texlive-t2
The T2 bundle provides a variety of separate support functions, for using Cyrillic characters in LaTeX for using Cyrillic letters ’transparently’ in formulae - the citehack package, for using Cyrillic (or indeed any non-ascii) characters in citation keys; - support for Cyrillic in BibTeX; - support for Cyrillic in Makeindex; and - various items of font support.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-t2
on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-t2.
Install texlive-t2 on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-t2
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-t2
Install texlive-t2 on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-t2
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-t2
How To Uninstall texlive-t2 on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-t2
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-t2
