What is texlive-gost

BibTeX styles to format bibliographies in English, Russian or Ukrainian according to GOST 7.0.5-2008 or GOST 7.1-2003. Both 8-bit and Unicode (UTF-8) versions of each BibTeX style, in each case offering a choice of sorted and unsorted. Further, a set of three styles (which do not conform to current standards) are retained for backwards compatibility.

We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-gost on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-gost.

Install texlive-gost on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-gost using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install texlive-gost

Install texlive-gost on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-gost using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install texlive-gost

How To Uninstall texlive-gost on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the texlive-gost package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove texlive-gost
