What is texlive-fontspec
Fontspec is a package for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX. It provides an automatic and unified interface to feature-rich AAT and OpenType fonts through the NFSS in LaTeX running on XeTeX or LuaTeX engines. The package requires the l3kernel and xparse bundles from the LaTeX 3 development team.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-fontspec
on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-fontspec.
Install texlive-fontspec on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-fontspec
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-fontspec
Install texlive-fontspec on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-fontspec
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-fontspec
How To Uninstall texlive-fontspec on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-fontspec
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-fontspec
