What is texlive-fontaxes

The package adds several new font axes on top of LaTeX’s New Font Selection Scheme. In particular, it splits the shape axis into a primary and a secondary shape axis, and it adds three new axes to deal with the different figure versions offered by many professional fonts.

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-fontaxes using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install texlive-fontaxes

Install texlive-fontaxes on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-fontaxes using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install texlive-fontaxes

How To Uninstall texlive-fontaxes on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the texlive-fontaxes package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove texlive-fontaxes
