How To Install texlive-environ on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-environ on CentOS 7.
What is texlive-environ
The package provides the \collect@body command (as in amsmath), as well as a \long version \Collect@Body, for collecting the body text of an environment. These commands are used to define a new author interface to creating new environments. For example square brackets, doing the right thing in ignoring leading and trailing spaces.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-environ on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-environ.
Install texlive-environ on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-environ using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-environ
Install texlive-environ on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-environ using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-environ
How To Uninstall texlive-environ on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the texlive-environ package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-environ
