What is texlive-datetime
Provides various different formats for the text created by the command \today, and also provides commands for displaying the current time (or any given time), in 12-hour, 24-hour or text format. The package overrides babel’s date format, having its own library of date formats in different languages. The package requires the fmtcount package.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-datetime using dnf by running the following command:

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall texlive-datetime on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-datetime package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-datetime
