What is texlive-cjk
CJK is a macro package for LaTeX, providing simultaneous support for various Asian scripts in many encodings (including Unicode) Japanese, - Korean and - Thai. A special add-on feature is an interface to the Emacs editor (cjk-enc.el) which gives simultaneous, easy-to-use support to a bunch of other scripts in addition to the above scripts, - Russian and - Vietnamese.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-cjk on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-cjk.
Install texlive-cjk on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-cjk using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-cjk
Install texlive-cjk on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-cjk using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-cjk
How To Uninstall texlive-cjk on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-cjk package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-cjk
