What is texlive-bera
The package contains the Bera Type 1 fonts, and a zip archive containing files to use the fonts with LaTeX. Bera is a set of three font families (a Frutiger descendant), and Bera Mono (monospaced/typewriter). Support for use in LaTeX is also provided. The Bera family is a repackaging, for use with TeX, of the Bitstream Vera family. date
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-bera on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-bera.
Install texlive-bera on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-bera using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-bera
Install texlive-bera on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-bera using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-bera
How To Uninstall texlive-bera on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the texlive-bera package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-bera
