How To Install texlive-bera on AlmaLinux 8

What is texlive-bera
The package contains the Bera Type 1 fonts, and a zip archive containing files to use the fonts with LaTeX. Bera is a set of three font families (a Frutiger descendant), and Bera Mono (monospaced/typewriter). Support for use in LaTeX is also provided. The Bera family is a repackaging, for use with TeX, of the Bitstream Vera family.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-bera on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-bera.
Install texlive-bera on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-bera using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-bera
Install texlive-bera on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-bera using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-bera
How To Uninstall texlive-bera on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the texlive-bera package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-bera
