How To Install texi2html on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install texi2html on CentOS 7.
What is texi2html
The basic purpose of texi2html is to convert Texinfo documents into HTML, and other formats. Configuration files written in perl provide fine degree of control over the final output, allowing most every aspect of the final output not specified in the Texinfo input file to be specified.
We can use yum or dnf to install texi2html on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texi2html.
Install texi2html on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texi2html using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texi2html
Install texi2html on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install texi2html using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texi2html
How To Uninstall texi2html on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the texi2html package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texi2html
