How To Install tellico-data on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is tellico-data
tellico-data is:
Tellico is a collection manager for KDE. It includes default collections for books, bibliographies, comic books, videos, music, coins, stamps, trading cards, and wines.
Tellico capabilities include:
- creation of user-defined custom collections with unlimited fields,
- automatically formatted names,
- sorting and filtering by any field or property,
- ISBN validation,
- full customization for printing or display through XSLT files,
- import and export of CSV, RIS, BibTeX and BibTeXML files,
- import data from Amazon, IMDb, CDDB or any US-MARC compliant z39.50 server.
Tellico files are stored in XML format, avoiding the need for a database server, and allowing other software applications to use the data.
This package contains the architecture independent files, such data files and documentation.
There are three methods to install tellico-data
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tellico-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install tellico-data
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install tellico-data

Install tellico-data Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install tellico-data
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install tellico-data
How To Uninstall tellico-data on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the tellico-data
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove tellico-data
Uninstall tellico-data And Its Dependencies
To uninstall tellico-data
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove tellico-data
Remove tellico-data Configurations and Data
To remove tellico-data
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tellico-data
