How To Install tcl-tclreadline on Kali Linux

What is tcl-tclreadline
tcl-tclreadline is:
tclreadline adds GNU Readline support to standard Tcl/Tk. It provides interactive command editing and history for Tcl shells (this must be enabled on a user-by-user basis) and allows the use of GNU Readline features in Tcl programs.
There are three methods to install tcl-tclreadline on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tcl-tclreadline Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install tcl-tclreadline using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install tcl-tclreadlineInstall tcl-tclreadline Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install tcl-tclreadline using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove tcl-tclreadline configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tcl-tclreadlineRemove tcl-tclreadline configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
