This extension adds dynamically loadable signal handling to Tcl/Tk scripts. It provides a very limited subset of the functionality of tclX (just the signal part, and about 3/4 of the functions for signals), but as a result is quite small and quick to load.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tcl-signal
