How To Install tcl-signal on Ubuntu 18.04

This extension adds dynamically loadable signal handling to Tcl/Tk scripts. It provides a very limited subset of the functionality of tclX (just the signal part, and about 3/4 of the functions for signals), but as a result is quite small and quick to load.
There are three methods to install tcl-signal on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install tcl-signal using apt by running the following command:

Install tcl-signal Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install tcl-signal using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install tcl-signal

To uninstall only the tcl-signal package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove tcl-signal

To remove tcl-signal configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tcl-signal
Remove tcl-signal configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove tcl-signal configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge tcl-signal
