How To Install tcl-memchan on Ubuntu 18.04

What is tcl-memchan
tcl-memchan is:
Allows the creation of I/O channels, which store data in memory, not on disk. It implements the channel types fifo, null, random and zero; and provides a C API for creating custom memory channels.
This package contains the runtime library to be used in Tcl programs.
There are three methods to install tcl-memchan on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tcl-memchan Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

To uninstall tcl-memchan and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove tcl-memchan
Remove tcl-memchan Configurations and Data
To remove tcl-memchan configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge tcl-memchan
Remove tcl-memchan configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove tcl-memchan configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge tcl-memchan
