How To Install task-spooler on Debian 12

Task spooler is a Unix batch system where the tasks spooled run one after the other. Each user in each system has his own job queue. The tasks are run in the correct context (that of enqueue) from any shell/process, and its output/results can be easily watched. Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install task-spooler using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install task-spooler
How To Uninstall task-spooler on Debian 12
To uninstall only the task-spooler package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove task-spooler

To uninstall task-spooler and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove task-spooler
Remove task-spooler Configurations and Data
To remove task-spooler configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge task-spooler
