How To Install talkd on Ubuntu 18.04

What is talkd
talkd is:
Talkd is the server that notifies a user that someone else wants to initiate a conversation. It acts a repository of invitations, responding to requests by clients wishing to rendezvous to hold a conversation.
There are three methods to install talkd
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install talkd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install talkd
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install talkd

After updating apt database, We can install talkd
