How To Install tablix2 on Kali Linux

What is tablix2

tablix2 is:

Tablix is a powerful free software kernel for solving general timetabling problems. It uses a coarse-grained parallel genetic algorithm in combination with other techniques to construct sensible timetables from XML formatted problem descriptions. Tablix can run on a single host as well as on a heterogeneous parallel virtual machine using PVM3.

There are three methods to install tablix2 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install tablix2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install tablix2 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install tablix2

Install tablix2 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install tablix2 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install tablix2

Install tablix2 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install tablix2 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install tablix2

How To Uninstall tablix2 on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the tablix2 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove tablix2

Uninstall tablix2 And Its Dependencies

To uninstall tablix2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove tablix2

Remove tablix2 Configurations and Data

To remove tablix2 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge tablix2
