What is systemtap-runtime
SystemTap runtime contains the components needed to execute a systemtap script that was already compiled into a module using a local or remote systemtap-devel installation.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install systemtap-runtime
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install systemtap-runtime.

Update yum database with yum
