The SVT-AV1 development is a work-in-progress targeting performance levels applicable to both VOD and Live encoding / transcoding video applications.. This package contains the development files for SVT-AV1.
We can use yum or dnf to install svt-av1-devel on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install svt-av1-devel.
Install svt-av1-devel on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install svt-av1-devel using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install svt-av1-devel
Install svt-av1-devel on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install svt-av1-devel using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install svt-av1-devel
How To Uninstall svt-av1-devel on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the svt-av1-devel package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove svt-av1-devel
