A software suite to process, view, and print cave survey data. Survex is cross-platform (Linux, Unix, macOS, Microsoft Windows). It has been translated into many languages. It can deal with extremely large and complex datasets and can read survey data from many sources.

There are three methods to install survex on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install survex Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install survex using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install survex

After updating apt database, We can install survex using apt by running the following command:

Install survex Using aptitude
