How To Install supybot on Debian 10

What is supybot
supybot is:
Supybot is a robust (it doesn’t crash), user friendly (it’s easy to configure) and programmer friendly (plugins are extremely easy to write) Python IRC bot. It aims to be an adequate replacement for most existing IRC bots. It includes a very flexible and powerful ACL system for controlling access to commands, as well as more than 50 builtin plugins providing around 400 actual commands.
There are three methods to install supybot on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install supybot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install supybot using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install supybot
Install supybot Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install supybot using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install supybot
Install supybot Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install supybot using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install supybot
How To Uninstall supybot on Debian 10
To uninstall only the supybot package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove supybot
Uninstall supybot And Its Dependencies
To uninstall supybot and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove supybot
Remove supybot Configurations and Data
To remove supybot configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge supybot
Remove supybot configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge supybot
