What is supermin

Supermin is a tool for building supermin appliances. These are tiny appliances (similar to virtual machines), usually around 100KB in size, which get fully instantiated on-the-fly in a fraction of a second when you need to boot one of them.

We can use yum or dnf to install supermin on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install supermin.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install supermin using dnf by running the following command:
