How To Install stunnel4 on Debian 9

What is stunnel4
stunnel4 is:
The stunnel program is designed to work as SSL encryption wrapper between remote client and local (inetd-startable) or remote server. The concept is that having non-SSL aware daemons running on your system you can easily setup them to communicate with clients over secure SSL channel.
stunnel can be used to add SSL functionality to commonly used inetd daemons like POP-2, POP-3 and IMAP servers without any changes in the programs’ code.
This package contains a wrapper script for compatibility with stunnel 3.x
There are three methods to install stunnel4 on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install stunnel4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install stunnel4 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install stunnel4

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install stunnel4 using apt by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install stunnel4 using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the stunnel4 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove stunnel4

To uninstall stunnel4 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove stunnel4
Remove stunnel4 Configurations and Data
To remove stunnel4 configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge stunnel4
