How To Install stopmotion on Debian 11

on Debian 11.
What is stopmotion
stopmotion is:
Create stop-motion animations with images grabbed from a video device, or from image files, or from still images extracted from video. Stopmotion has a set of tools which helps you keep the movements smooth and precise, such as ghosting the last image on a live view of the next image to be acquired.
There are three methods to install stopmotion
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install stopmotion Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install stopmotion
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install stopmotion

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install stopmotion

sudo apt -y install stopmotion
Install stopmotion Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install stopmotion
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install stopmotion
How To Uninstall stopmotion on Debian 11
To uninstall only the stopmotion
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove stopmotion
Uninstall stopmotion And Its Dependencies
To uninstall stopmotion
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove stopmotion
Remove stopmotion Configurations and Data
To remove stopmotion
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge stopmotion
