How To Install starpu-contrib-tools on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install starpu-contrib-tools on Kali Linux.
What is starpu-contrib-tools
starpu-contrib-tools is:
StarPU is a runtime system that offers support for heterogeneous multicore machines. While many efforts are devoted to design efficient computation kernels for those architectures (e.g. to implement BLAS kernels on GPUs or on Cell’s SPUs), StarPU not only takes care of offloading such kernels (and implementing data coherency across the machine), but it also makes sure the kernels are executed as efficiently as possible.
This package contains StarPU tools. This “contrib” version is built against CUDA.
There are three methods to install starpu-contrib-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install starpu-contrib-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install starpu-contrib-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install starpu-contrib-toolsInstall starpu-contrib-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install starpu-contrib-tools using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the starpu-contrib-tools package we can use the following command:

To remove starpu-contrib-tools configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge starpu-contrib-toolsRemove starpu-contrib-tools configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove starpu-contrib-tools configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
