How To Install stalonetray on Ubuntu 18.04

What is stalonetray
stalonetray is:
stalonetray is an implementation of system tray application (aka notificaton area) according to freedesktop.org specification; support for KDE icons included.
stalonetray is a stand-alone system tray (notification area) for X Window System/X11 (e.g. X.Org or XFree 86). It has full XEMBED support and minimal dependencies: an X11 lib only. Stalonetray works with virtually any EWMH-compliant window manager.
Window managers that are reported to work well with stalonetray:
- FVWM
- OpenBox
- Enlightenment

There are three methods to install stalonetray on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install stalonetray Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install stalonetray using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install stalonetray
Install stalonetray Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install stalonetray using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install stalonetray
Install stalonetray Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install stalonetray using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove stalonetray
Remove stalonetray Configurations and Data
To remove stalonetray configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge stalonetray
