What is spf-tools-python

spf-tools-python is:

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) related scripts and tools in Python. This package currently provides three scripts:

  • pyspf: command line use of spf.py
  • spfquery: Python implementation of spfquery (uses alternatives)
  • pyspf-type99: Tool to convert SPF records of type TXT to type SPF

Install spf-tools-python Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install spf-tools-python using aptitude by running the following command:
