How To Install spatialite-gui-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04

spatialite-gui-dbg is:
spatialite-gui is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for spatialite.
SpatiaLite is a SQLite extension that enables support of spatial (geometry) data in a way conformant to OpenGis specifications, with both WKT and WKB formats.
Spatialite also includes Virtualshape and Virtualtext to enable accessing shapefiles and csv/text files as virtual tables.

There are three methods to install spatialite-gui-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

We can use the following command to remove spatialite-gui-dbg configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge spatialite-gui-dbg
