How To Install sope-bin on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install sope-bin on Kali Linux.
What is sope-bin
sope-bin is:
An extensive set of Objective-C frameworks which form a complete Web application server environment. Besides the Apple WebObjects compatible appserver that has been extended with Zope concepts, it contains a large set of reusable classes: XML processing (SAX, DOM), MIME/IMAP4 processing, LDAP connectivity, RDBMS connectivity, and iCalendar parsing.
This package contains supporting binaries for libsope.
There are three methods to install sope-bin on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sope-bin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install sope-bin using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install sope-binInstall sope-bin Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install sope-bin using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install sope-binInstall sope-bin Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install sope-bin using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the sope-bin package we can use the following command:

To uninstall sope-bin and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove sope-binRemove sope-bin Configurations and Data
To remove sope-bin configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge sope-binRemove sope-bin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
