How To Install socket on Kali Linux

What is socket
socket is:
The socket program is a simple tool for socket based connections. It can be used to create simple daemons (in both standalone and inetd mode), to connect to other daemons or to redirect ports.
There are three methods to install socket
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
