How To Install smbclient on Ubuntu 18.04

This package contains command-line utilities for accessing Microsoft Windows and Samba servers, including smbclient, smbtar, and smbspool. Utilities for mounting shares locally are found in the package cifs-utils.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get -y autoremove smbclient

To remove smbclient configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge smbclient

We can use the following command to remove smbclient configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
