How To Install slepc-dev on Kali Linux

What is slepc-dev
slepc-dev is:
SLEPc is a software library for the solution of large scale sparse eigenvalue problems on parallel computers. It is an extension of PETSc and can be used for either standard or generalized eigenproblems, with real or complex arithmetic. It can also be used for computing a partial SVD of a large, sparse, rectangular matrix.
This is a dependency package which depends on the latest version of SLEPc.
There are three methods to install slepc-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install slepc-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install slepc-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install slepc-devInstall slepc-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install slepc-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install slepc-devInstall slepc-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install slepc-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install slepc-devHow To Uninstall slepc-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the slepc-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove slepc-devUninstall slepc-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall slepc-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove slepc-devRemove slepc-dev Configurations and Data
To remove slepc-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge slepc-devRemove slepc-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove slepc-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
