How To Install slapi-dev on Ubuntu 22.04

This package allows development of plugins for the OpenLDAP slapd server using the SLAPI interface. It includes the headers and libraries needed to build such plugins.
There are three methods to install slapi-dev
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

Install slapi-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install slapi-dev

using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install slapi-dev

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install slapi-dev
Install slapi-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install slapi-dev
