Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install skyview on Kali Linux.

What is skyview

skyview is:

SkyView is a “virtual” observatory dynamically generating images of the sky in different wavelength regimes from a static image database. SkyView is intended as a quick look facility to see the heavens.

This package includes the executable.

There are three methods to install skyview on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install skyview Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install skyview using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install skyview

Install skyview Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install skyview using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install skyview

Install skyview Using aptitude
